Oli Bow Detail Cardi

Isn't this cardigan just adorable? I love its refreshing simplicity and pure white colour and the cute black bow which serves as a perfect accent. Although, I, as a rather practical girl, would certainly try to make something similar myself by buying cheap white cardigan and sewing black bow (that you can make from a piece of black satin ribbon) to it, instead of splurging £28 on it. If you prefer splurging, though, you may do it here.

Spring Trends: Cropped leather jackets

Cropped jacked seem to be a big trend this spring and especially leather one. Although, I'm not a huge fan of use of real leather in production of clothing, even I must admit, that some of the designer pieces are truly gorgeous. Of course, I wont be able to purchase any of them in the nearest future, but I am really looking forward to find something suitable for me that is not so pricey. Meanwhile, have a look at some more designer goodness after a jump.

Daily Fail: Ashish Spiked denim jacket

Now, this is one jacket I wouldn't like to see near me. I wonder how many friends do you keep after wearing this one for a while? On the other hand - quite useful in overcrowded bus or perhaps in winter sale rush... If you plan some of these activities, you may want to get one here. Just don't forget that there are spikes on the back too - so don't get stuck to your car seat!

Kenneth Jay Lane Feather Earrings

Oh, these are absolutely flawless... They look almost like some exotic plants than just feathers. Covered in Swarowski crystals these Kenneth Jay Lane earrings are just angelic.

Daily Fail: Simon Wang Metallic Puff Shoulder Jacket

This shoulder pad thing is getting out o hand, I think... I mean, just look at this! They are huge! And shiny... Do you need more to call it fashion fail? I don't certainly. For big shoulder thing lovers - get this at ASOS.

Love it or hate it: ASOS BLACK

ASOS introduces the new limited edition collection which  features different statement party pieces. We can find unusual designs in black and silver and lot of sequins. Unfortunately, not all things in this collection are as cute as this Sequin Waterfall blazer above. Some of these statements designers should really keep to themselves. Take look at more pictures after a jump and tell me what you think.

Denim Shoulder Detail Jacket from Miss Selfridge

Probably you have already noticed by now that shoulders are big this season. And when i say big, I mean it. And this not my favorite trend to go for. However, I find myself quite liking this denim jacket from Miss Selfridge, despite its obviously... shouldery nature. It is definitely an eye catching piece and possibly too much for some of you, but can totally see how it works as a great accent for a simple outfit, say, skinny pants and dark high-neck pullover or a cheeky tee shirt. I feel tempted, if you do too, you will find it here.

DailyFail: Horace Ripped Denim Biker Jacket

Another miserably ripped piece of clothing that some people refer to as jacket. People from Horace apparently, because I don't see any sensible reason why would anyone name this rag a denim biker jacket, apart from being afraid to lose their job. As I am not working for Horace, I can afford to call this... ehm... thing a daily fail. If you disagree and think that it IS a jacket and are ready to spend 120 pounds on it, yu can do it here.

Laura Quilted Diamond Biker Style Jacket

This biker style quilted dimond design jacket is a great bargain - only 25 pounds and you get this fabulous rocker chic inspired piece. It is just perfect for this autumn - I absolutely love it! If you do too, you can find it here.

Daily fail: Unconditional Backless Tux Velvet Jacket

Although velvet is not my favorite material in the world, this jacket would be quite nice addition to any wardrobe, apart from one minor drawback. THERE IS A HOLE IN THE BACK. If I spend more than 300 pounds on a jacket I would like to have it all, not with some important pieces, like half of the backside, missing. However, if a back-ventilation is very important necessity for you, you can buy this jacket here.

Trend Report: Autumn 2009

Julien Macdonald, Fall 2009

For this autumn everybody have gone mad for biker chic and heavy metal fantasies, personally I love this look because it is so wild and rebellious. If you want to go with this look, be careful not to exaggerate with all the leather, buckles, chains, rips and studs. Choose only few of these elements to look stylish and not like you have just got of your Harley and you have a tattoo of a scull on your buttocks. More pics after a jump.

Daily Fail: LTD 100 Fringe Detail Leather Jacket

This leather jacket by Kate Underwood is a part of the LTD 100 collection in association with London College of Fashion, for me it seems more like a fashion mishap. I don't mind fringe details, because they give a very interesting boho/ethnic look which I like and are quite popular this season. But sometimes too much is just too much - I can easily imagine these fringes stuck between the doors of the elevator or car, or, when it is windy, slapping the faces of the passersby. However, if you think you just can't have too much of a good thing, you can buy it here.
